Liverpool Airport Transfers
Liverpool Airport is 8 miles from the city centre and there are four options available to get you into the city.
Private Coach Transfers - Coach transfers from the airport to the city will be available for group or individual bookings. This service will be available to book from September 2007 with a link from this website to the service operator.
Public Transport - A bus can be taken from outside the airport terminal that will take you directly to the city centre and within 1km of the Games Village at the Liverpool Echo Arena. Car Hire - WFG08 will shortly be in a position to announce an exclusive deal that will make cheap car hire available to competitors via a link from the Games website.
Taxi Hire - Taxis are plentiful and available from the airport terminal. Taxis are licensed to carry up to 5 passengers.
Manchester Airport Transfers
Manchester Airport is 36 miles from the city centre and there are four options available to get you into the city.

National Express - run a public coach transfer service between the airport terminal and Liverpool's city centre, running approximately 6 times per day and can be reserved directly with the operator at www.nationalexpress.com

Taxi Hire - Taxis are plentiful and available from the airport terminal. Taxis are licensed to carry up to 5 passengers. Please note that taxi travel from Manchester Airport to Liverpool is expensive compared to the other options.
