The World Firefighters Games 2008 is expecting 5,000 firefighters from around the world to arrive in the city to compete in an exciting programme of more than 70 sporting events between August 24 and September 2, 2008.
WFG08 organisers are very keen to make the Games extremely inclusive of all firefighters from across the globe, and have therefore located accommodation across the city to suit all budgets.
In addition to 1,000 hotel beds already reserved in some of Liverpool’s top hotels, a further 2,300 beds in student halls of residence have now been secured and are available to BOOK NOW!!
The new accommodation has been released to ensure that all budgets are catered for and to help encourage even more competitors from overseas to make the journey to Liverpool and take part.
The student accommodation is situated on various university campuses in Liverpool city centre and the surrounding suburbs of Aigburth and Childwall, and all offer excellent transport links into the city and beyond.
Prices range from £20.50 to £43, with some including breakfast. Some have the option of en-suite facilities, while others have a shared bathroom. Full details are available on the website.
